Yesterday I was happy to find one of my images on the main site of National Geographic as Photo Of The Day.
It’s a photo of a destination wedding in Cuba I photographed in Varadero. This particular image was taken during the Trash The Dress session, a day after the wedding in the beautiful city of Havana.
I’ve been to Havana many times and it is one of the most stunning cities in the World with architecture and lives untouched by modern civilization. No McDonald’s or other fast food restaurants or flashy shopping malls. Once you are out of touristy areas, it feels like you are back in the 50’s. Love love love their old cars, which are enormously expensive there and as they can’t buy parts for those cars any more, they make everything themselves.
