Had a pleasure of flying to Banff, Alberta recently to document a gorgeous Indian wedding at one of the most beautiful places in Canada – Lake Louise. It was a 2-day wedding. Day 1 took place at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel where Sikh, Hindu and other ceremonies were held from morning to evening. While the view of the mountains was somewhat obstructed by smoke coming from British Columbia’s wildfires, the area was still magnificent. Banff is definitely one of my favorite locations in Canada and not just for wedding photography, but just for the sheer beauty of the whole area which you can explore for days! The 2nd day reception was held at the Empire Banquet Hall in Calgary. It was awesome to see familiar faces as I photographed bride’s sister about 4 years ago.
I am presenting a highlight of about 80 out of around 900 images I took during the wedding at the Lake Louse and Calgary 2-day event. As always, if you are planning a local or destination wedding, send me an email or give a quick call to chat about the details and your vision.
